Mobile Explorer Camp
Serengeti National Park – Game drive
Upon your arrival in the Serengeti National Park, either by aircraft or safari vehicle, you will be greeted by your safari guide. The Serengeti National Parkknownas one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events – the great migration, has an amazing biodiversity of flora and fauna which you will explore extensively in the coming days. Your guide will take you to the Mobile Explorer Camp, which has been set-up especially for you on a carefully chosen private campsite in the national park. Then you will meet the rest of your camp crew and your safari chef will serve you a delicious hot lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on your first game drive in the park before you return to the Mobile Explorer Camp for sundowners followed by another freshly prepared meal. Later you will retreat to your tent where you will spend the night on comfortable beds.
Lunch; Dinner
The next two days are all in the name of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. During your game drives you will witness the different sceneries that are home to the Serengeti and that include grassland savannah, plains, woodlands and riverine forests. But most importantly you will get to perceive the Serengeti’s resident game. Animals that can often be spotted during game drives include Thomson and Grants gazelles, hyenas, baboons, eland, impalas, giraffes and of course the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. The areas that you will visit during your time here will depend on what you are most interested in seeing but also on where the migrating herds are located. As this nature spectacle is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the animals may vary from year to year. But your safari guide will make it his priority to create a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The course of the day is also flexible and will be tailored to suit your needs. Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed in camp or en-route while dinner will be served at the camp. The evenings will be spent around the campfire under the star-studded sky before the days come to an end. You will spend two nights at the Mobile Explorer Camp in the middle of the Serengeti National Park.
